This Refund and Cancellation Policy (βPolicyβ) governs payments made to Draze India Pvt. Ltd. (βDrazeβ, βweβ, βusβ, or βourβ) for access to and use of the Draze platform. By accessing or using Draze and making any payment, you agree to this Policy.
1. About Draze
Draze is a technology platform that enables property owners, managers, and tenants to manage rental operations, including payments and related services.
Draze operates solely as a technology service provider. It does not own, lease, sub-lease, or manage any property listed on the platform and does not control rental terms, pricing, or agreements between users.
All payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways.
2. Scope of this Policy
This Policy applies only to payments made directly to Draze, including subscription fees, platform charges, or service fees.
This Policy does not apply to:
- Rent payments
- Security deposits
- Maintenance or utility charges
- Any payments between tenants, owners, property managers, or third parties
3. User-to-User Transactions
All transactions between users of the platform, including tenants, property owners, managers, vendors, or service providers, are independent private arrangements.
Draze is not a party to such transactions and does not determine or validate any charges, agreements, or obligations between users. Accordingly, Draze shall have no responsibility or liability for any disputes, claims, or refund requests arising from such transactions, which must be resolved directly between the concerned parties.
4. Subscription & Platform Fees
- Access to certain features of Draze may be subject to subscription or platform fees.
- Subscription plans may be offered on a monthly or multi-month basis.
- For the purpose of this Policy, one month shall mean a period of 30 days from the date of payment.
5. Cancellation Policy
Users may request cancellation of their subscription through official Draze support channels. Cancellation of a subscription does not automatically entitle the user to a refund. All refund requests shall be considered strictly in accordance with this Policy.
6. Refund Policy
Refunds are not automatic and shall be processed only after review and approval.
6.1 Cancellation Within 7 Days
- The fee for the first month is non-refundable under all circumstances.
- If the subscription is for one month only, no refund shall be applicable.
- In case of multi-month subscriptions, any approved refund shall be limited to the unused portion after deducting the fee attributable to the first month.
6.2 Duplicate Payments
Any duplicate or excess payment made for the same invoice or billing cycle may be refunded after verification.
6.3 Technical Errors
In cases where multiple debits occur due to a system or payment gateway error, the excess amount may be refunded upon verification.
7. Non-Refundable Cases
No refund shall be provided in the following situations:
- Requests made after 7 days from the date of payment.
- Single-month subscriptions.
- Payments relating to rent, deposits, maintenance, or utilities.
- Disputes between users of the platform.
- Payment failures arising from bank, network, or user input errors (except verified duplicate transactions).
8. Payment Authorisation
All payments on the Draze platform are initiated by the user and completed through secure authentication mechanisms such as OTP, UPI, or bank approval. A successfully completed transaction shall be deemed to be validly authorised by the user.
9. Refund Processing
Approved refunds, if any, shall be processed to the original payment method used for the transaction. Processing timelines may vary depending on the respective bank or payment service provider. Draze shall not be responsible for delays occurring after the refund has been initiated.
10. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
If a user initiates a chargeback, reversal request, or payment dispute, Draze reserves the right to submit transaction records and system logs for resolution.
In cases of valid transactions, Draze reserves the right to:
- Suspend or restrict the user account.
- Recover any applicable fees, penalties, or financial losses.
- Initiate appropriate legal action in cases of misuse or fraud.
11. Policy Updates
Draze reserves the right to amend or update this Policy at any time. Users are advised to review this Policy periodically.
